The MadBats was a project I worked on during 2010-2011.

The Big Bad was on hiatus due to a overload of touring and just being cunts to each other. So during this time I worked with two bands. Beaver Kneviel was a rock ‘n’ roll project featuring members of The Pistol Whippers, The Dig Its, The Colonel and myself. I also formed a horror punk band called The MadBats with friends such as Joe Mendez playing bass, Joshua Ledbetter playing guitar, and this guy named Nathan Shrewsbury, later known to Big Bad fans as Necro Nate.

We played faster than The Big Bad and with more anger. But all the songs we wrote were intended to be for The Big Bad.

Unfortunately, those projects both ended when I decided it was time for The Big Bad to go full on and do what we always promised to the world: be the greatest horror rock ‘N’ roll band the world has ever heard or seen!

Years have passed since those days, but I still believe in these songs and I want you all to hear them and believe in the one true spirit that never dies: rock ‘n’ roll!
